Zante Ice Cream

Escaped to Zante (Zakynthos) for a quick end-of-season holiday and was thrilled to find some delicious home-made ice cream in the village. Back in April John & Susan Brown drove their 25 year old classic Bedford ice cream van to Greece for a new life on Zakynthos.
They close at the end of October for the season but if you go next year they're well worth a visit (their home-made chilli is great too).
Here's some pics and links...

Quote of the Day

Always interesting to hear people's musings as they choose a flavour; my favourite today was:
"I'd have the Toffee and Butterscotch, but the butterscotch might send me over the edge"
What edge? And why?
