Beyond Hope

Had a wonderful day at the Hope Weekender yesterday

and a great night too. Thanks Maxine for inviting me along.
Here's a shot I took from the bottom of the field at 6 o'clock this morning of my luxury accommodation last night.

No, not the marquee on the left, that's the bar. Not the tent on the right, that's where the children had their workshops.

I couldn't be bothered to try and work out how to put my tent up - my practice run in the front room at home nearly ended up with one of the poles going through the TV screen - so I decided I'd put the bike to one side of the trailer and sleep beside it. Surprisingly comfortable.

3 Weddings and a Festival

 

Busy weekend ahead, two weddings tomorrow - at Beacon House (The Artist's House), Whitstable in the afternoon, then over to Preston Court in the evening; Back to Beacon House for another wedding on Saturday afternoon, then up to Biggin Hill for the last day of The Hope Weekender 2013.

At last!

Hoping to finally get the bike out today and tomorrow.

There is a bit of sun forecast this afternoon, and although it's only going to get up to a max of 7°C (8°C Sunday), the wind is going to drop off at last, so it should feel a lot warmer.
