Zante Ice Cream

Escaped to Zante (Zakynthos) for a quick end-of-season holiday and was thrilled to find some delicious home-made ice cream in the village. Back in April John & Susan Brown drove their 25 year old classic Bedford ice cream van to Greece for a new life on Zakynthos.
They close at the end of October for the season but if you go next year they're well worth a visit (their home-made chilli is great too).

Whitstable Castle

Whitstable Castle re-opens this Saturday, 4th September at 2.00pm,

Oyster Festival

Busy day yesterday with the start of the Oyster Festival - hope to post some photos later in the week; meanwhile here's one from last week-end:

Back in Whitstable
